Name: Fogfoot
Gender: Tom
Age: 20 moons
Appearence: Fogfoot is a slim, slight tomcat with dull gray and gray-brown fur. His fur is semi-long, long enough that he's not really a short-haired cat, but not long enough to be long-haired. His longer coat, espcially around his face when you see his gray-green eyes gives him the apperance of being an older cat. Spots of white fur lines some of his eyes and other parts of his face, and his whiskers are long and thin.
Fogfoot certianly apepars to be fragile, though he's not. His eyes have has a certain sharpness to them that hints at his good physical condiction. Fogfoot can certainly fight with his thorn sharp claws, though of course being a medicne cat he's bound to be peaceful. He's fast, though an old ankle injury slows him consideribly when it's foggy or partically misty or damp outside. A cruel considence, he often mkuses, that he because more useless when his namesake is taking over the landt. His tail is long and good for balnced..
Personality: Fogfoot is certianly not happy with being a medcine cat in any way shape or form. He's good enough at his job and has a good sense for healing and herbs, but he never really wanted to take that path. Because of this, out dear Fogfoot isn't exactly the shining enbodyment of the perfect medcine cat.
Fogfoot has many issues with sitting still when he knows that his Clan is under attack. It's not unsually to seeing him pacing, and hissing, and spitting in rage that he can't jump into a battle with his clanmates. The deaths of clanmates hit him particually hard when it's battle wounds because, in his mind, he wasn't there batteling along side his clanmates to stop the cat from being wounded. Whenever he fails to heal a cat, wheather from battle wounds or sickness, Fogfoot beats himself up over it. He certianly doesn't like the responsibilty of caring for the entire clan's health and welfare. He's prone to being so overwellhemed with stress that he goes for insane amounts of time without sleep untill he simplely collapses from exahaustion. Thankfully for him and his clan, all of these times had happened when he was alone and typically at night where he simply sleeps ad if he was sleeping for the night.
Fogfoot hates being a rolemodle in the Clan. He has a soft side for kits and would, if possible, let all of thier misbehaviors around him slip, save for a few rather dangours things. He's an increidibly selfish tomcat that hates risking his lived by being around cats sick with greencough. He won't ever admit this to anyone, in all honestity, and because of his regretful nature is he honey-sweet to anycat who's life is in danger, which is often a huge cry from his more direct and critical treatment of lesser injuries. He's been known to lose his temper on apprtinces who come to his den with a thorn in thier paw who whine and yowl and makes it more difficult to remove the object.
No matter how much Fogfoot objects to being a medcine cat, he's loyal to his clan above all else and will never abondon his postion. He often grapples with his desire for kits of his own, but he will never risk brining StarClan's wrath on his clan for something of his own doing.
Likes: fighting, his clan, mice.
Dislikes: his job, being defenseless, complacentity
Mate/Kits: None.
History: For the most part Fogfoot's kithood was a happy one. He and his brother Mistkit were happy and healthy and infamous for running around and reining havic all over camp, though never anything particually dangouros, untill a few days before thier apprtentice cermeony when the two kits got restless and left camp, hopeing to begin thier warrior training a little early.
Truthfully, Fogfoot doesn't remember much of the day, and he and his brother never discussed what happened. Ever. But there was a major black out that happened to them both and when they awoke they were in the den of the current medcine cat, Sandnose. Fogfoot and Mistkit's mother had freaked out when she realized they were missing and when she found them, she freaked any more. Both of her kits looked tiny and breakon, though when Mistkit came through he sprang right up and ran around. Fogfoot did not. Sandnose was certain that his leg was shattered and insisted that Fogfoot become his apprtince against the young kit's will.
The Clan leader agreed, two days later at Mistkit's apprentice ceremnoy, and that enxt half-moon StarClan approved the decision. Fogfoot was offically a medcine cat's apprtince from that day on.
Truthfully, his training was horrible. Fogfoot had a good sense for herbs, though he oftened stuggled to be as nurtining as he should. Much to his own despair his leg healed itself to the point where his movements were more or less normal, save for certain conditions. Fogfoot was mortified to think that he missed his chnace to become a warrior, though he coudln't chnage a thing. Duty called.
Moons passed and before he knew it Fogfoot earned his full Medicne catr name. Mistpaw became Misttail and life went on.
